Controller tester
Plug in a controller by USB or Bluetooth, then press any button. Everything you press lights up below, and the drift check tells you if a stick is moving on its own.
No controller found yet. Plug one in and press any button to wake it up.

Stick drift check
Drift is when a stick reports movement while you're not touching it, so your character creeps or the camera slowly turns. Put the controller down, let go of both sticks, then start the check. It takes 5 seconds.
Rumble test
Check both vibration motors are working.
Raw readings (for unusual controllers)

Good to know
- Works best in Chrome, Edge and Firefox. Browsers only show a controller after you press a button, for privacy.
- The face buttons are named by position. Bottom is A on Xbox-style pads and Cross on PlayStation-style pads.
- A tiny wobble, under about 3%, is normal. Most games ignore small movements near the centre, called a deadzone.
- If you do have drift, try cleaning around the stick base and updating the controller, then check whether your game lets you raise the deadzone.
- Everything runs in your browser. Nothing about your controller is sent anywhere.
